Title: THURBER
Date: Fri May 3 14:31:53 1996

For those of you who have no idea what the word "Thurber" means - James
Thurber is one of the greatest American imagery writers. There are some
of his "morals":

MORAL: Government of the orioles, by the foxes, and for the foxes, must
perish from the earth.

MORAL: It is not so easy to fool little firls nowadays as it used to be.

MORAL: It is better to ask some of the questions than to know all the
answers.

MORAL: Anybody who you or your wife thinks is going to overthrow the
governmenst by violence must be driven out of the country.

MORAL: You might as well fall flat on your face as lean over too far
backward.

MORAL: Early to rise and early to bed makes a male healthy and wealthy
and dead.

MORAL: Whom God equipped with flippers should not monkey around with zippers.

MORAL: Who flies afar from the sphere of our sorrow is here today and
here tomorrow.

MORAL: Run, donŐt walk, to the nearest deserted island.

MORAL: Who flies afar from the sphere of our sorrow is here today and
here tomorrow.

Be careful what you wish for! Sometimes you get it ...

                                *  SUE  *
** ... looking for the ruby in a mountain of rocks... **
*** I am the one who walks with the tender and growing night... ***
