SALVETE, OMNES: Recently I attended a magnificient production of Wilde's "A
Woman of No Importance"  and at that oportunity I refreshed some of my
classics; somehow, I came up with the quote of Orwell refereing to Charles
Dickens:
"Terrible architecture but magnificient gargoyles!"
Don't you have the impression that many plots are like that?
